Company Information
The Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC) offers security services to owner and operator organizations of the Bulk Power System across North America. The E-ISAC gathers and analyzes security information, coordinates incident management, and communicates mitigation strategies with stakeholders within the Electricity Subsector, across interdependent sectors, and with government partners. The E-ISAC, in collaboration with the Department of Energy and the Electricity Subsector Coordinating Council (ESCC), serves as the primary security communications channel for the Electricity Subsector and enhances the subsector's ability to prepare for and respond to cyber and physical threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

The E-ISAC is operated on behalf of the Electricity Subsector by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.

Medical Plans offered through CIGNA
NERC offers a High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account as well as a traditional co- pay plan for its employees and their dependents. NERC contributes to the HSA account. Eligibility is the first day of employment.

Dental Plan offered through CIGNA
Dental insurance is offered to NERC employees and their dependents with an annual maximum benefit of $2,000 per covered member. Preventative services are covered at 100%. Four cleanings and two exams are allowed per year. Child and adult orthodontia is included. Eligibility is the first day of employment.

Long-Term Disability through Mutual of Omaha Employer paid LTD is paid at 60% of your monthly earnings with a maximum allowance of $15,000 per month and begins on the 91st day.   Eligibility is the first day of employment.

Flexible Spending Account through SelectAccount You may choose to set aside pre-tax money for any eligible day care expenses or medical expenses.
Eligibility is the first day of employment.

Defined Contribution Plan through The Principal NERC’s Board of Trustees’ Corporate Governance may authorize the company to make a discretionary contribution to your Principal account. Eligibility to participate is the first entry date after completion of 3 months of employment and 1,000 paid hours.
Entry dates are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. This contribution is made typically in February each year. See plan for vesting and full eligibility rules.

Vision Plan offered through EyeMed
NERC offers vision coverage through EyeMed. Routine eye exam is $10 co-pay (in-network), and a
$130 allowance for frames every 2 years. Eligibility is the first day of employment.

Life Insurance and AD&D through Mutual of Omaha
Employer paid basic life insurance is provided at an amount equal to three times annual base salary, capped at $1,000,000 for all eligible employees.
Supplemental Life and AD&D is also available for employee, spouse and children. Eligibility is the first day of employment.

Short-Term Disability through Mutual of Omaha Employer paid STD is paid at 662/3% of your weekly earnings with a maximum allowance of $3,200 per week and continues for 12 weeks. Eligibility is the first day of employment.

401(k) Plan through The Principal
The plan allows you to customize and design a savings plan with your lifestyle and retirement goals in mind. NERC provides a match of $.75 for every
$1.00 deferred, limited to deferrals of 6% of eligible compensation. The employer match is 100% vested immediately. Eligibility is the first entry date after completion of three months of employment and attained the age of 21. Entry dates are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1.

457(b) Plan through The Principal
Highly compensated employees (HCE) are eligible to participate in the plan based on the IRS regulations for the year.

Educational Assistance
NERC provides employees educational assistance, including but not limited to reimbursement for employment-related tuition, registration fees, laboratory fees, and textbooks under the following conditions:
•        You have been employed with NERC for at least six months and any courses reimbursed are taken after that 6 month eligibility date.
•        The course or training is employment related and pre-approved in writing by your supervisor, the officer in charge of your department, and the director of human resources.
•        You complete the course with a grade of “C” or better.
After completing the course and in order to receive reimbursement, submit the signed approval form, receipts and documents indicating that the course was completed and the grade received to Human Resources. Any educational assistance amounts in excess of the foregoing must be approved by the president and chief executive officer.

Conferences and Seminars
NERC provides reimbursement for educational employment-related professional conferences and seminars.

Holidays
NERC provides eleven paid holidays each calendar year. Scheduled holidays are New Year’s Day, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Jury Duty
Time off for mandatory jury duty is excused and paid at full salary with appropriate documentation. No reduction in salary is taken for receipt of jury duty pay.

Family and Medical Leave
“Eligible” employees may take up to twelve weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave. DCFMLA provides eligible employees with up to sixteen weeks of unpaid leave within a 24-month period.

Long Term Sick Bank
Employees may place up to 12 PTO days per year for use in the event of their own medical time off. Maximum number of days in bank is 120.

Relocation
Eligible candidates required to relocate will be provided with up to two house hunting trips, the cost of moving household goods as well as travel expenses incurred for the move.

Professional Memberships
NERC will reimburse employment-related professional organization expenses to join or maintain one license or certification directly related to employment at NERC.

Paid Time Off
NERC provides PTO days based on length of employment. Employees may rollover 10 days to the next year and an additional 12 days into a long- term sick bank.

Bereavement
NERC provides up to three paid days per calendar year of bereavement leave in the event of the death of family members to include; Spouse/Partner, Child/Step Child, Parent/Step Parent, Sister/Brother, Parent-in-Law, Sister/Brother-in- Law, or Grandparent.

Military Duty
Employees called to Duty should discuss the requirements with their supervisor.




Dress Code
NERC provides a culture in which Monday through Thursday, the dress code is business casual and allows for casual dress on Fridays.

Mass Transit/Parking Reimbursement
NERC will reimburse Atlanta and D.C.-based employees for parking and/or mass transit expenses incurred to park and/or commute to their designated work location as outlined in the Mass Transit Benefit policy.

Gym Membership
Employees in D.C. have free access to the fitness center located in the building. Employees in Atlanta will be reimbursed for their membership to the City Club of Buckhead Athletic Club and Spa as outlined in the policy.
