Knack Works is seeking a Systems Engineer to help coordinate our development, deployment, and maintenance of our services and systems to a government customer. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated experience working across multiple areas of the System Engineering lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Government customers and their representatives regarding program status and deliverables • Coordination of hardware installations at customer sites • Conduct internal coordination with multiple matrixed teams to ensure program success • Build and maintain program plans and program schedules • Maintain and manage updates to system documentation • Build training material and conduct training sessions with system users • Seamlessly implement technical architectures into cloud infrastructure, including design, maintenance, support, and planning • Work through the development lifecycle with cloud technologies, including CI/CD releases • Help deploy and maintain services applications as needed

Skills
Bachelors in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or 4 years of relevant work experience Minimum 10 years of technical engineering experience with at least 8 years within the Intelligence Community Active TS/SCI w Poly Experience with NSIS and System Engineering lifecycles Experience working within an incremental development framework Ability to coordinate within a diverse group of technical experts Able to work on-site in Chantilly, Virginia

Notes
• Demonstrated experience providing technical documentation and presentations to customers • Working knowledge of Linux • Experience with Kubernetes environments • Familiarity with Data Center Operations • Current DoD 8570 IAT II Certification (Security ) or higher certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of starting role
