Description
Responsibilities: Collaborate with the CHIMERA team to identify and resolve malicious cyber activities. Translate communications into intelligible forms for analysis and response. Develop discovery tools using C++ and Python to enhance cyber detection capabilities. Deliver newly discovered cyber protocols/variants and processing methods to enhance cyber defense measures. Contribute to the delivery of cyber actor infrastructure, tools, and malware executables to support defensive operations.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, an Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 9 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with significant related experience. Degree in Computer Science (CS) or related field. Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Experience in developing or analyzing hardware or software techniques, applications, and tools, scientific programming, or digital signals processing. Understanding of signals and protocol analysis techniques, with the ability to apply them to discovery activities. Knowledge of bit manipulation tools. Familiarity with communication protocols relevant to cyber activity. Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
