Description
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution with a high level of proficiency and independence.
Communicate directions effectively and provide guidance to junior programmer/analysts when necessary.
Develop solutions that integrate or extend Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) or Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) products.
Evaluate project needs, determine tasks and durations, and generate and review designs for technical accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:
?Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, particularly in the specified technologies and methodologies.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
Demonstrated commitment to contributing to open-source applications.
Proficiency in Java programming for distributed systems, with expertise in networking and multi-threading.
In-depth knowledge of Apache Hadoop, Accumulo, and NiFi.
Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Strong foundation in Linux fundamentals and proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
Familiarity with source code management practices and tools, including Git.
Proficiency in enabling tools such as Maven, Jira, Bamboo, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/Pipelines.
Experience with continuous monitoring tools like ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana) and Nagios.
Understanding of microservices software development techniques and container-orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification.
