Description
Responsibilities:
Analyze user requirements, operational documents, and system architectures to develop detailed system requirements specifications.
Lead design and development activities by analyzing system requirements and providing technical guidance.
Guide users in formulating requirements, advising alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies.
Provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology.
Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations effectively.
Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation.
Guide system development and implementation planning through the assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and integration and test plans.
Interact with government stakeholders regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations, addressing problems, issues, or conflicts.
Assume ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and associated deliverables within the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Implement comprehensive SOA solutions.
Review and approve system engineering documentation to ensure accuracy, comprehensiveness, and completeness.
Assess program risks and develop risk management plans.
Plan verification efforts and prepare time-line analysis diagrams.
Establish processes for change management and system baseline maintenance.
Support DoD Certification/Accreditation processes and Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) documents.
Provide technical direction for system development, engineering, integration, and testing.
Conduct quantitative analysis in non-functional system performance areas.
Coordinate system integration activities among multiple teams effectively.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
