Description
Systems Administrator to provide day-to-day administration and support for both production and non-production environments in alignment with agency IT policies and guidelines. This role involves managing and maintaining CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux Operating System environments, as well as troubleshooting system maintenance tasks and software upgrades. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will oversee activities related to accounts, passwords, keys, certificates, and system accreditation/reaccreditation.

Responsibilities:
Administer and support production and non-production environments in accordance with agency IT policies and guidelines.
Manage and maintain CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux Operating System environments.
Troubleshoot system maintenance tasks including backups, recovery, and file system maintenance.
Coordinate activation, installation, and testing of software upgrades and computer components.
Manage accounts, passwords, keys, certificates, and trust stores.
Oversee System Accreditation/Reaccreditation activities and maintenance of associated corporate tools.
Provide technical guidance to a team of Systems Administrators on complex problems and issues.
Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures.
Assist in creating, triaging, assigning, and maintaining systems administration-related tickets.

Requirements:
Proven experience in systems administration and support in production environments.
Proficiency in managing CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux Operating System environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills for system maintenance tasks and software upgrades.
Experience with managing accounts, passwords, keys, certificates, and trust stores.
Familiarity with System Accreditation/Reaccreditation activities and associated corporate tools.
Ability to provide technical guidance to a team of Systems Administrators.
Excellent documentation skills for IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph.

Desired:
Certification in CentOS or RedHat Enterprise Linux.
Experience with system accreditation processes and tools such as Latte Art and Biscotti.
Familiarity with ticketing systems for managing systems administration tasks.
