Culmen International is hiring a System Admin / Developer to provide support for the National Security Agency’s security and counterintelligence mission of threat detection, prevention, and deterrence. Work is primarily onsite at Fort Meade, MD with limited remote work options. This position will provide technical services including the identification, development, and integration of mission-critical initiatives and maintenance, customization, and enhancement of Centrifuge (data-analytics and data-visualization platform). Centrifuge maintenance includes assisting with data integrations, data lake development, editing configuration files, cloud-migration, and customizing for end-user needs. This position will serve as the technical bridge between NSA and Culmen.



Roles & Responsibilities
Work in close coordination with Government and Culmen Management and Technical Teams to determine engineering and user requirements and derive design, functional, and performance requirements.
Work in close coordination with Culmen Management and Technical Teams to develop, test, and deploy technical solutions to meet stakeholder requirements.
Develop solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigating problem areas.
Design, code, demonstrate and integrate new software / technologies or modify Centrifuge to add new features and capabilities to meet stakeholder requirements.
Debug Centrifuge and correct defects.
Support and provide Centrifuge services including training, maintenance, and customization services to maximize the Government’s investment and mission effectiveness.
Integrate existing software or technologies into new or modified systems or operating environments.
Develop simple and complex data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
Assist with developing and executing test procedures.
Write or review software and system documentation.
Perform quality control and ensure software / systems meet government specifications and requirements.


Basic Qualifications
TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
10 Years of experience in software development in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, complexity.
Experience with data analytics, data architecture, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cloud Migration.
Expertise in Java, SQL, Jenkins, Spring Framework
