Responsibilities:
Systems Engineering across the below areas:
Work as a Systems Engineer and Technical Assistant (SETA) to the Government Provide Systems Engineering support to processing acquisitions for key space assets Coordinate regularly with development contractors to manage and resolve technical and programmatic deficiencies, ensuring government stakeholders are satisfied with contractor performance Utilize organizational and communication skills to clearly and concisely present information, ensuring the government and all stakeholders are kept informed of system status Manage the drafting and refinement of non-earth imaging requirements for automated processing
Qualifications: Required:
BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly Thorough understanding of GEOINT processing systems Thorough understanding of non-earth imaging principles and processes Experience drafting and managing Systems Engineering requirements, including waterfall and agile methodologies Understanding of Electro-Optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Mission Processing systems Experience assisting the government with acquisition processes and documentation for small and large-scale software development contracts Strong presentation, oral, and written communications skills, including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products Proven organization and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and oral forums with personnel at all levels of government Desired:
Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA) or ability to learn quickly Experience with Systems Engineering and acquisition documentation, such as Requests for Proposals (RFCs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Requests for Change (RFCs) Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks Experience with Systems Engineering risk management, architectures, and verification/validation (V&V)
