Experienced Business Intelligence Analyst

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Manufacturing and Safety Core Data Analytics Team in Everett, Washington. You will help with the design, implementation & support of our data systems, reporting solutions, dashboards, and automated metrics. You will work very closely with Manufacturing and many other functions to design and implement architecture, tools, and processes needed to provide insightful analysis and reporting to support data-driven decision making.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop data solutions end-to-end, from gathering requirements from manufacturing stakeholders to partnering with the core team and other analysts to implement.

  • Create actionable and user-friendly dashboards - using Tableau or other tools - to surface business performance and scalable support data-driven decision making.

  • Ensure data quality always meets our standards, by monitoring performance, diagnosing issues, and creating solutions.

  • Data-driven and highly analytical - you're able to translate data and insights into a meaningful story to drive strategy, action, and decision-making at an executive level.

  • Self-starter - you boldly pursue your work and love the responsibility of being personally empowered, constantly prioritizing your work among several projects.

  • Curious - you're innovative, creative, and constantly looking for opportunities to tweak and optimize.

  • Team Player - you love going heads down in SQL, but also partnering with your teammates and stakeholders.
     

This is a hybrid position with a combination of on-site and remote work.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, etc.).

  • 1+ years of experience in developing and maintaining scripts.

  • 1+ years of experience building intuitive and actionable Tableau dashboard and data visualizations that drive business decisions.
     

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):  

  • 3+ years of experience with manufacturing and production process/ data.

  • 1+ years of experience with programming languages such as R, Python, SAS or Java.

  • Working knowledge and experience with website development and design.

  • Outstanding communication & collaboration skills.

  • The ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with team members from non-technical disciplines.

Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
