Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a Procurement Agent Level 2 to join the Phantom Works team in Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+  year in supply chain or procurement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
  • Ability to excel at unique problem solving and multi-tasking of urgent issues.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advance degree (e.g. Bachelor, Masters, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $60,350.00 – $83,070.00
