Global Technical Operations (GTO) is seeking a new Field Operations Lead to join their Portfolio Management & Strategy team.  The GTO Field Operations leader will drive proposal discipline and enforcement within BGS Engineering, BGS Quality, BGS Estimating & BGS GTO, to ensure estimating and planning quality to mitigate execution risk for BGS GTO Field Operations.

This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports all GTO Field Operations sites – Strategic Work Placement, Capability alignment & Forecast
  • Supports BGS WSPR Implementation, Forecast to Function, Skyline & Bird farm development
  • Deliver ongoing campaign actions for GTO MRO Ops stakeholders, response facilitation, and ensure the capability / capacity (headcount) to execute the proposed statement of work
  • Drives the proposal response and Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) integration of BGS GTO Field Ops inputs and participation

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 6+ years of experience with Government Aircraft Field Operations
  • 6+ years of experience conducting Capability & Capacity Analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiarity with the BGS ESGP, US Government procurement process, and international government procurement processes
  • Familiarity with BGS US Government Services

 Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
