Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Human Resources (HR) 737 and the Delivery Operations is seeking an Experienced Human Resources Generalist to join a dynamic, inclusive HR team in Seattle, WA or Renton, WA.

The position will play a key role in supporting the success of Boeing’s business and the HR function’s objective to provide world class HR service and employee experience. 

The role, along with their team of peers, will be the HR Generalists supporting BCA employees in 737 Program and Delivery Operations.  The position will work closely with other key groups in the Human Resources organization, namely HRG’s dedicated to Airplane Programs, the specialized HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) and the HR Services groups to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers.   The team will be responsible for delivering HR products and services interactions and interfacing with employees and managers in person to improve the employee experience. 

Due to the nature of the business, the position is primarily on-site with the ability to set a schedule with one day a week remote.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions

  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery

  • Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)

  • Work closely with HR COE’s to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs

  • Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided

  • Support the continuing transformation of HR via HR process implementation and the continuous technological improvements in Workday

  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Human Resources certification

  • 1+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams either formally or informally in a Human Resources role

  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $60,480 - $112,320
