Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) seeking a motivated, talented Associate Multidiscipline Engineer to join the Design Center South (DCS) in Huntsville, AL, to work on a variety of programs across the Boeing business units.

Position Responsibilities Include: 

• Perform and design analysis of aerospace design and mechanical system and structures
• Develops and documents moderately complex requirements via drawings, data sets, reports, specifications and supporting data
• Designs based on defined requirements. Tests and validates designs to meet operational and functional requirements
•  Monitors suppliers' performance to ensure integration and compliance with requirements
• Resolves moderately complex problems with product integration and production anomalies
• Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
• Participates with other members on project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Astronautical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years’ experience in addition to Bachelors, or a Master’s degree  

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
