Position Overview:

Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Product Data Management Specialist with Configuration Management experience to join the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team located in Huntington Beach, CA. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing Configuration Management support to Missile, Space and Autonomous Systems Programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Change Control Board Packages Preparation, Review and Approval

• Interface with multiple Engineering Disciplines and PLM Peers to resolve CM issues

• Product Data Management Tool Utilization

• Configuration Status Accounting

• Configuration Verification

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree and 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• At least 1 year of experience in Configuration Management/Data Management

• At least 1 year of experience with configuration control processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Configuration Management Planning

• Prior experience with Configuration Identification

• Prior experience using Configuration Status Accounting System (CSAS)/InSync software

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
