Boeing is looking for an Entry Level Supply Chain Specialist to support our team in Dallas, TX.

The Supply Chain Specialist will be an integral member of the Boeing C-17 Repair Management team. Provides and analyzes post production repair data to manage program repairs throughout process. Analyzes material location and initiates redirect actions as necessary working with their Asset management counterpart. Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system. Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs. Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies. Identifies supply chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues. Leads and works various projects to improve processes and flow of material. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supply chain strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage/execute C-17 program repairs
  • Monitor/support unserviceable returns and receipts
  • Manage/execute repair purchase order changes working with supplier management
  • Provide monthly summaries on program top drivers
  • Provide repair WIP and performance delivery status to internal & external customers
  • Participate in Vertical Program performance/business reviews
  • Review/analyze material consumption data
  • New business & proposal development support – Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW, SDRL requirements, capacity and performance requirements

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Dallas, TX.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Less than 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in managing aircraft repairs.
  • Less than 1 year of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors.
  • Experience functioning in a cross-functional environment.
  • Less than 1 year of experience working both independently and in team environments.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
