Boeing Global Services is seeking a First Line Critical Infrastructure and Technology Manager to support our business in Chantilly, VA. This position supports mission critical government programs.

A successful candidate will be a highly skilled leader who can bring facility engineering disciplines together with advanced technologies to lead a team focused on critical facility infrastructure, facility engineering, and technology advancements. We are also looking for excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as experience providing high-quality customer service and positively inspiring people!

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead facility modernization efforts, this leader will blend traditional facility engineering considerations around mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines with growing information technology capabilities related to industrial controls (ICS), supervisors control and data acquisition (SCADA), advanced metering, analytics and building operations, automation and maintenance systems
• Manage employees with engineering and IT skills to deliver solutions for a U.S. Government customer in the Chantilly, VA area
• Develop and execute projects and process plans, implement solutions and set operational goals the support a large facility operations and maintenance program
• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Support and maintains the site’s program to obtain and maintain highly available infrastructure processes and best practices based upon the Uptime Institute related to dually maintainable facilities
• Incorporate efforts within the site’s Change Control Board (CCB) processes and ensures that all changes are fully approved and tested before implementation

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Chantilly, VA. location.

  

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  A final Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph Post-Start is required.

Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Minimum 5 years’ of experience leading technical teams
 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph
• Experience developing/implementing SCADA or ICS systems
• Experience establishing or running critical infrastructure engineering programs
• Degree in Computer Science or facility engineering discipline
• Professional Engineering license in the state of Virginia 
• Customer facing experience as a contractor or consultant 
• Certification from the Uptime Institute as an Accredited Tier Designer, Tier Specialist, or Operations Specialist

• Current certification or the ability to obtain a recognized IT Information Assurance (DOD 8570.1) certification within 6 months after hire.

Relocation:
