The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) on the F/A 18 Program in Berkeley, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate a high performing team of employees on the production line. Position Responsibilities: • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. • Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture • Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees This position is for variable shift Must be willing to work any shift, and overtime as dictated by business conditions. (Variable shifts; including day, evening, night and weekends) This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment • 3+ years of experience performing in a leadership role Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - 5+ years of work experience OR military experience
- Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)
- Experience leading any of the following: staff, teams, and production or quality system initiatives.
- Experience with managing or working to safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data (knowledge of, and demonstrated commitment to, Go for Zero and Incident & Injury Free (IIF) principles).
- Experience influencing and driving operational performance

(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
