Position Description: 

The Boeing Global Services is seeking a Provisioning Specialist in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position will be supporting AWACS and Bombers programs and include direct engagement with many key sustainment programs. As a member of the team, you will directly contribute to the analysis of engineering data, top-down break down of provisioned items and utilize knowledge of aircraft parts, components and maintenance data.  Provisioning provides the customer with the analytical decisions that enable the identification of affordable inventory requirements. Provisioning has impact on several supportability efforts which must be in place upon delivery of the aircraft as well as life cycle demands.

This position is located in USA – Oklahoma City, OK

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities: 

Some of the job responsibilities/ duties include (but not limited to):

  • Develops, collects and stores provisioning data elements for a single customer and contract type within the SLIC database.
  • Reviews engineering source data and develops parts breakdown levels.
  • Reviews equipment usage data.
  • Determines replacement parts.
  • Assists in establishing stocking requirements.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): 

  • Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product life cycle
  • 3+ year of work experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience working in a structured logistics database such as SLICWave

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Associate’s, Bachelor’s or equivalent work related experience.
  • Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems. 
  • Familiarity with Aircraft Support Equipment.
  • Experience with engineering/technical drawings, blue prints and schematics.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation: 

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:  This is a 1st shift position
