The Boeing Global Services (BGS) team is seeking a First Line Facility and Logistics Manager to support our business in Sacramento, CA

This position leads our 20-person team onsite daily in supporting a mission-critical government program and serves as the leading Boeing representative on the compound. A successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as experience providing high-quality customer service and positively inspiring people!

Position Responsibilities:

- Leads a diverse team of facilities technicians, transportation/warehousing professionals, and security/IT administrators in delivering world-class customer service to our government partners

- Ensures all services are delivered, projects are executed, and missions are conducted within established program guidelines and budgets

- Obtains and manage all contract resources for the site, hire new employees, and provide day-to-day operational oversight

- Collaborates routinely with government leaders and the Boeing Enterprise Program Manager on personnel and site status

- Adheres to site security protocols and protect classified information

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Sacramento, CA. location.

  

This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).

Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

- Experience leading personnel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

- Experience in operations, construction project management, logistics, facility/installation maintenance, or engineering

- Knowledge of process improvement (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc) and quality management (ISO 9001) methodologies

- Familiarity with government contracts

- Bachelors degree or higher
