The Boeing Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) is seeking a Programmer Analyst - Senior Level to support our Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM) team in Hazelwood, MO or another Boeing location.

A successful candidate will help lead data analysis, mapping, extraction, transformation and loading to support migration of customer data from a wide variety of legacy applications to the IPDM Teamcenter Product Data Management system.  

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and documents scope of work for data conversion projects

• Analyzes and creates data models to determine mapping and transformation of source data to target IPDM Teamcenter data model

• Coordinates the conversion of various types of customer data

• Responsible for converting data from multiple data sources including text files, MS Office files, mainframe data management applications, CAD data, Bill of Material data, Change Management data, Engineering Notes, Material Specifications, Standard Parts, and Product Support data

• Communicates project status to project management and works with customers to verify that data is converted correctly

• Identifies issues and takes the proper actions to resolve them

• Runs validation processes to ensure conversion accuracy

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter Product Data Management application, Siemens Teamcenter data conversion tools

• Experience with one or more of the following: Java, Javascript, XML, SQL, XPath, XSLT

• Knowledge of data modeling methodology and tools including UML

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Strong SQL knowledge and familiarity with various types of databases

• Experience with Siemens PLMXML and TcXML schemas

• Knowledge of CAD/CAM applications (i.e. CATIA, UG NX, Pro-E)

• Familiarity with Engineering/Manufacturing/Product Support Data Management processes

• Knowledge of scripting languages: PowerShell scripting and Perl

• Knowledge of Agile software development methodology

Typical Education/Experience: 

Typically 9 or more years' related work or military experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Advanced Degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
