The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is looking for Materials Management Manager - Common Systems, Compliance, and Inventory Control, to support Operations in El Segundo, CA.  

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees analyzing supply chain material requirements, developing and optimizing inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain demands.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Scope of team responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• iSPACE team - systems training, maintenance, and user support
• SAP ARIBA Indirect Supply Chain procurement support
• Inventory Control
• MMAS Audits
• Site Performance Metrics
• Common Systems
• 2CES Support
• Process Improvements
• BDSI Support
• CAPRS User Support
• ICMT Processing
• Surplus/Excess Reduction
• IWA Gatekeeper
• Tool Crib Consumables procurement support

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret TS/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 or more years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• 3 or more years of experience working in a production environment
• 3 or more years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• 5 or more years’ experience collaborating with a multi-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 or more years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• 5 or more years of experience in supply chain or materials management.
• 5 or more years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.
• Solution oriented with strong interpersonal and customer service/communication skills.
• Strong moral compass
• APICS Certificate is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with MMAS
