The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Lead Systems Engineering Technician to support a variety of engineering activities for a large, highly-complex group of programs located in the Puget Sound area. Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports systems engineering teams defining requirements, developing trade studies, performing analyses, and controlling associated data and information.

  • Gathers, tracks and analyzes data to support engineering and program goals.

  • Selects appropriate data to conduct analysis and develop conclusions/recommendations.

  • Evaluates and recommends methods, processes, procedures and characteristics of design.

  • Coordinates the development of proposals and plans and verifies compliance to requirements.

  • Develops and implements specific engineering processes, tools and procedures.

  • Provides technical support to all system engineering activities.

  • Coaches and mentors others.

  • Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

  • Experience working on highly complex engineered systems.

  • Experience developing, maintaining, and executing program documentation.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.
