Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Infrastructure Support Services Finance team in Chantilly, Virginia.  Core responsibilities include support of the monthly financial reporting to our customer. As a member of our team you will be collaborating with multiple functions across the entire organization not only to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information but also to identify opportunities to further streamline and improve current processes.

This position is expected to be a hybrid position.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options, with the ability to occasionally work remote.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Initiates assignments and independently leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs
  • Leads or consults on the development of performance reports
  • Initiates assignments and independently leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management
  • Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance and projections using extensive financial knowledge and experience
  • Leads or consults on the development of cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses
  • Leads, analyzes and presents business cases using appropriate indices to maximize profitability and shareholder value
  • Consults on requirements definition and deployment of common systems, tools, processes and training to improve resource and/or business planning processes

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related degree
  • 5+ years of experience performing financial analysis
  • 5+ years of experience with Estimates at Completion, Data Analysis, and/or Budgeting/Cost Performance Reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in virtual/telecommuting (hybrid) and an office setting
  • Ability to work on site at Boeing location in Chantilly, Virginia (up to 50%)

 Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Boeing and/or government finance and accounting systems
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
  • Ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph
  • Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
