We are seeking a Senior Manager (Level M) to act as Deputy Director of Facilities for our Boeing Southern California sites: El Segundo, Long Beach, Seal Beach and Huntington Beach. Your primary location will be El Segundo, California.

You will provide leadership over major focus areas to include project execution oversight, finance, planning and business partner relationships.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and integrates employee and mid-level management within the facilities occupation including facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance

  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, business partners and employees

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions

  • Participates in source selection; provides technical oversight and integrates supplier activities

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in one of the listed locations.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of facilities management experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams

  • Experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of financial oversight experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • 5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, and developing others

  • 5+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive leadership
