Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), has a need for a V-22 Mission Systems Program Integrator / Technical Subcontract Engineer (Level 3) in Ridley Park, PA. In this role, the selected candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for several domestic and international suppliers to coordinate development, qualification, test, and closeout activities on Mission Systems equipment. He/she will be the main technical point of contact for the supplier and will develop working level relationships with the supplier team. He/she will also be responsible for the day to day technical oversight of the supplier's SSOW.


As the point of contact for suppliers on V-22 programs, he/she will be responsible for ensuring that Mission Systems team meets cost, technical and schedule objectives. He/she will coordinate with internal Mission Systems stakeholders, program management teams, and the customer to ensure program success.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.

Supplier Technical Management Responsibilities include:

  • Lead all Mission Systems supplier activity for a program from RFP/proposal development, fact finding, negotiations through execution and delivery / closeout

  • Maintain working-level supplier relationships.

  • Coordinate with technical stakeholders to develop and manage the execution of SSOW and requirements for all suppliers.

  • Integrate with supplier management to ensure successful RFP, proposal, contract placement, execution, requirements (CAPRS), invoicing and closeout with suppliers.

  • Support SCM process for supplier SW delivery and SQSR, QSR process for SW and HW.

  • Identify and manage supplier risks, issues, and opportunities.

  • Integrate supplier plans and schedule into Boeing Integrated Plans and Schedule and maintain performance to plan.

Program Integrator Responsibilities include:

  • Lead all Mission Systems activity from RFP/proposal development through execution/sustainment and delivery / closeout, including all major Gate Reviews

  • Integrate with technical leads, other program IPTs, suppliers, and BGS as appropriate to ensure proposal and statement of work are executed on time

  • Identify and maintain day-to-day oversight of cost, schedule, TPMs and performance and use metrics to report that to leadership

  • Maintain working-level customer relationships

  • Define plans for risk mitigation, issues and opportunities

  • Manage, with proper change control, all changes to the Mission Systems/EFC program baselines

  • Lead Lessons Learned, Retrospectives, RCCA and recommend improvements to leadership.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Supplier relationship management/technical subcontract management.

  • Experience managing technical aspects of project/program

  • Earned Value Management experience.

  • Engineering experience with hardware and/or software products.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Mission Systems/Avionics Engineering Experience.

  • Program lifecycle experience.

  • V-22 experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
