Boeing Global Services BGS is seeking an Associate Test & Evaluation Engineer in Huntsville, AL.  

In this role you will perform a variety of tasks as a member of the GMD System Test Team.  Tasks will include Flight Test Integration activities, System Pre-Mission Testing with Range Interface Test Equipment (RITE), RITE Operations, and Model Based Engineering (MBE)/Digital Engineering support for modeling test activities in a digital environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead SPMT RITE activities while RITE Operator and Test Director are deployed
  • Train as a RITE Operator under current RITE Operators and RITE Test Director
  • Flight Test Integrator – support test manager by gathering metrics and developing charts for Team Execution Reviews
  • Travel with test team and generate EODs for testing in the field
  • Support the development of a Digital Engineering model for various system test events

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Able to travel up to 10% of time
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Ground-based Midcourse Defense program and/or the Missile Defense Agency
  • Experience in Test conduct and troubleshooting
  • Experience using Cameo System Engineering Modeling (SysML) toolset.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor’s) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
