The Boeing Company is seeking a Midlevel Procurement Agent (Level 3) based out of Everett, WA. The position will require the support of sourcing strategies, subcontract negotiation, the documentation of contracts and agreements, and the preparation and execution of proprietary information agreements and teaming agreements. It will also require the communication of performance expectations and use of metrics to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance in our Everett, WA facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as Liaison between Supplier and Boeing

  • Manage suppliers to the negotiated contractual documents. 

  • Manage supplier readiness for entry into service and published production rates.

  • Review procurement/planning schedules to verify accuracy.

  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal stakeholders, and peers, including the ability to gain rapport and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communicate supplier performance expectations and utilize systems and metrics to evaluate and monitor demand schedules and supplier quality and delivery performance.

  • Analyze and track supplier Key Performance Indicators to provide input on risks and assist suppliers to develop new indicators as needed.

  • Conduct risk, issues, and opportunities management. 

  • Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, and supplier quality and delivery.

  • Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance and quality issues.

  • Lead cross functional teams to manage risk-mitigation strategies in support of Program objectives.

  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding resolution of quality issues, technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Mitigate risk issues, initiate and execute supplier recovery plans and improvement activities.

  • Assist in supplier improvement activities.

  • Lead and document implementation of lean improvements.

  • Manage quality/rework and work with supplier to conduct thorough RCCA’s and implement meaningful action plans.

  • Integrate with Production, Quality, Global Field Operations, Engineering, In-service teams, and other key stakeholders to communicate and resolve issues impacting Boeing Production or Fleet Customers.

  • Perform some level of system transactions, data entry, develop executive level communication summaries/presentations and present them.

  • Train/mentors early career team members.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 6 or more years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.

  • 6 or more years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.

  • 6 or more years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers

  • 6 or more years of experience resolving errors between supply chain systems such as GOLD, Mechanized Spares Management System (MSMS) or Network Procurement (NWP).

  • 6 or more years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 10 or more years' related work experience or military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $79,900 - $109,980
