The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Radar Design & Analysis Engineer (Level 4) to join the F-15 program located in Berkeley, MO.  We are seeking an Engineer to support development of advanced Radar capabilities for the F-15C, F-15E and F-15EX aircraft and to join a team where cutting edge technology really matters. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads planning, design, development and verification of new Radar line item capabilities for the APG-63 and APG-82 AESA Radars.

  • Collaborates with the Radar Supplier to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

  • Supports analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.

  • Effectively works on a diverse team that partners Boeing with Raytheon Technologies and the USAF.

  • Applies general knowledge of electronic/electrical systems or subsystems and components including operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces.

  • Responsible for successfully implementing, testing, verifying and documenting specific new line item capabilities in each F-15 Suite Software update.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options

Export Control:

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • Capable of traveling 10% of the time

  • Experience in an avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

  • Experience in Radar systems analysis, modeling simulation, design and testing involving airborne or SAR applications

Typical Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
