Autonomous Systems has an opening for a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) on the MQ-25 program in Berkeley, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate a high performing team of employees on the production line.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture
  • Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees.
  • Work with Line Side Control Center and cross-functional support teams to help address systemic build constraints.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with or supporting military aircraft.
  • 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • Experience working with a collective bargaining agreement and/or union-represented workforce
  • The ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with MQ-25 platforms

• Experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

• Experience OneBPS

• Experience with the Boeing Problem Solving Model
