Position Overview:

Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated & experienced System Security Product Engineering Technical Specialist. This job is an opportunity to be part of the Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center, which is tasked with the protection of all critical computers across all defense products developed within Boeing.  So, unlike most aerospace jobs where a team is focused on building a single product for a specific customer, this job offers the opportunity to see and contribute to products across Boeing’s entire elite defense portfolio.  This position is based in Oklahoma City, OK and requires onsite work to support the programs. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads development, documentation, implementation and consultation of the application of, and compliance with, requirements for the use of engineering tools, processes and standards.

  • Guides training and provides subject matter expertise in the utilization of processes, tools and integration of engineering designs.

  • Ensures regulatory requirements are met.

  • Leads the validation of user access roles and the production of moderately complex tip sheets.

  • Guides configuration management, coordination of changes, assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs.

  • Represents Company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use.

  • Directs the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity.

  • Leads the collection, analysis and validation of engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs.

  • Works under minimal direction.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience supporting Quality and/or Engineering teams

  • Experience analyzing data and generating metrics reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on defense programs or in a secure environment

  • Experience with project planning

  • Ability to create executive and customer presentations

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
