Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.

Additional cities may include St Charles, IL, Ridley Park, PA, Seattle, WA and Renton, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The developer responsibilities are, tool designing, programming, testing, implementing, documenting and maintaining computing applications and manage/maintain detailed project plans. 
  • Gathers and evaluates end user’s/customer’s SOW statement of work, prepares and reviews process and technique requirement document, writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine and maintain architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements.
  •  Monitors and reviews system performance, identifies and recommends improvements to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning.
  • You must be a team player and willingness to share knowledge and best practice.
  • Must demonstrate good analytical skills as it relate to data identification and mapping and excellent oral communication skills. 
  • Participate in requirements, design, code and test plan reviews.
  • Work with business and IT colleagues to understand and jointly evolve opportunities. 
  • Analyze problem areas and design and implement system improvements and sustainment of applications/tools. 
  • Analyze documents, files and reports related to work flow. 
  • Prepare instructional material and train end users. 
  • Prepare test data and analyze program performance during testing.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 4+ years of experience in software development in .net technologies and web service technologies and client side technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience with C#.Net or have extensive experience building application using C# code, or experience using .NET framework or object-oriented programming.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Development experience using the Visual Studio platform.
  • Experience in following a software development life cycle (i.e., application development & support).

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $55,440 - $102,960
