The Boeing Company is seeking an Executive Assistant / Experienced Procurement Analyst in support of the Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Supply Chain Core Contracting Team in either Berkeley, Missouri, El Segundo, California, Huntsville, Alabama, Mesa, Arizona, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania or Seattle, Washington.

This is a rewarding, yet challenging leadership role that will report directly to the Vice President of BDS Supply Chain Core Operati. In this role, you will leverage your strengths to assist the team in effective communication, strategy and execution with some of Boeing's largest subcontractors, supporting multiple BDS divisions and programs.   

Daily interfaces within BDS and across the enterprise are required to execute standard activities which include supplier strategy sessions, analysis of data and trends related to proposals, purchase requisitions, purchase contracts, delivery, and quality. Day to day activities are varied. The role requires a high level of organization, self-starting motivation, and relationship management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the development of and manages operating rhythm for organization.
  • Designs and briefs executive presentations.
  • Facilitate supplier introductions to buying teams.
  • Defines, designs, plans and deploys internal/external projects.
  • Analyzes and develops reports and/or utilizes reporting tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure internal performance-to-plan.
  • Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals.
  • Leads the development and implementation of strategies.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
  • Leads operations to drive alignment between the leadership team and enterprise objects.
  • Leads cross-functional process improvement activities.
  • Support the development and shaping of content for performance reviews, team meetings, staff meetings, etc.
  • Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities.
  • Leads self-assessment and audit teams to identify and implement corrective action.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in supplier management or supply chain management.
  • Experience using all of the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in proposals, purchasing, contracting, terms and conditions and/or contract negotiations.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time. Travel fluctuations will be based on key leadership activities.
