The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Business Operations Functional Excellence team is currently looking for an Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist who can optimally apply their project management skills to support both BCA and Enterprise Digital Transformation projects.  The selected candidate will identify then coordinate the right resources across the Boeing Enterprise to facilitate solutions to complex issues and/or challenges.  They will also need to identify then mitigate risk, issues, and opportunities; track project performance to the plan, implement or propose efficiencies, and capture lessons learned as needed.

The selected candidate should be comfortable both recommending solutions to complex issues and addressing challenging situations tactfully.  And, they shall provide periodic updates to the project’s progress, quality metrics, status summaries, and other related documents.

As an Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist, the selected candidate will be committed and engaged with the goal of always focusing delivering product and solutions with the highest quality to their stakeholders.

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) organization is seeking a Mid-level Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist to support our team based in Renton, Washington and (Everett, Washington).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains, an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements.
  • Produces metrics for plans and schedules for moderately complex projects, programs, and change activities across the lifecycle of a program.
  • Performs studies/analysis and planning efforts, within and/or across programs/projects, organizations or business units to determine impacts, constraints, and plans involving product development, production rates, production development activities, process improvement, or program initiatives.
  • Develops the Integrated Master Plan, schedule and supports change incorporation plans related to integrate scheduling products.
  • Performs integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners of moderate complexity.
  • Identifies, analyzes and reports performance variances to management.
  • Works with customers to develop performance recovery plans and incorporates recovery plans where appropriate.
  • Provides training and mentoring to lower level employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years’ of experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex small, medium, and large projects/initiatives.
  • Proficient in MS Office tool suite and Project Management software tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management best practices and processes.

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
