Boeing is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician & Inspector to join the PDX-Commercial Airplane Paint Operations group. This team operates out of PDX airport in the Portland, OR area.

Position Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.
Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.
Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.
Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

At least 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background
This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.
Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and / or a FCC License is preferred. If you have an A&P Certificate and / or FCC License, please note your certificate / license number on your resume.
A minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background

Typical Education/Experience:

High school graduate or GED preferred.
