Boeing Mesa, home of the AH-64E Apache, is seeking Senior Equipment and Tool Designers. Our tool engineering team supports products in the composite center, fabrication shops, final assembly, and production flight test centers. The selected candidate will be responsible for design, coordination, and development of Apache and other onsite Boeing Enterprise programs.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Responsibilities include design and implementation of special contract tooling used for fabrication and assembly of production parts.
• Other roles include checking, estimating, drawing release, and supporting operations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Export Control:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

• 5 or more years of experience with tool design including experience in design of drill jigs, assembly fixtures, bond jigs, and mechanical handling equipment.
• 5 or more years of experience with Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter PDM

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
