The Senior Financial Systems Analyst plays a critical role supporting Jeppesen’s enterprise resources planning system’s (Oracle) Accounts Receivable (AR) processes located in Englewood, Colorado. In this role, you will work with global teams in sales, credit, accounting, billing, IT, tax and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). You will troubleshoot inquiries for Oracle issues and third-party tools that interface with Oracle. You will research and gather requirements and testing for system enhancements and process improvements. You will provide process support in analyzing tools and functionality working as the liaison between the business and IT support. You will manage the working relationships with banking Relationship Managers. You will provide overall support for the Oracle AR process including tier 1 ticket issue support, month-end close coordination, credit card and bank payment research & resolution, user issues, invoicing and research support for the sales, credit, billing and tax teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides Tier 1 support for Oracle Order to Cash, finance modules, third party add in modules for tax, customer document and payment support
  • Provides Finance support to global teams including sales, credit, billing, accounting, IT, tax and FP&A
  • Runs the global month end Close process for Oracle accounts receivables
  • Daily check of bank receipt batches and resolution for unposted payments
  • Support for global credit card payment processes
  • Maintain and modify Oracle configurations within the receivables module
  • Provide tax system support license maintenance, address verifications, tax rate updates and system testing
  • Provide customer facing document support including invoices, statements and dunning letters
  • Create development tickets for enhancements to Oracle including testing, communicating process changes to users and providing training guidance
  • Provide general ledger (GL) Oracle support including configurations changes, mapping changes, setting cross validation rules, account combinations, maintaining journal entry approvers and automated schedules

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Platforms including Oracle e-Business Suite and/or SAP
  • 2+ years of experience working with account receivables and/or finance
  • Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
  • Ability to work in virtual/hybrid and in office setting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience with in Oracle E-Business Systems (EBS) release 12 with experience in the following modules: Order Management, Service Contracts, Subscriptions and Install Base
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) related to accounts receivable and revenue recognition
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and in support of a global presence
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, etc.)

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: 91,000 – 163,000
