Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3) based out of Victorville, CA.

A Supply Chain Specialist is required to support the goals and objectives of Airplane Tooling Services focused on Tool Leasing and administration of tool calibration coordination, based in Victorville, CA.  Seeking a candidate who can lead and collaboratively work multiple tool lease contracts, act as the company representative assisting customers to identify solutions for their tooling needs.  This position will work with internal support within the Boeing and outside metrology labs, as well as with global customers and require flexibility to be on-call after normal work hours and weekends.

Position Responsibilities:

•     Analyzes post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases.
•     Analyzes material location and initiates redistribution action.
•     Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
•    Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs.
•    Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies.
•    Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
•    Triage customer requests for tool availability.
•    Coordinate tool availability and delivery schedules with internal needs and approvals as needed.
•    Facilitate customer contract lease agreements.
•    Coordinate emergent outbound customer tool shipments.
•    Upon tool return, track to assure invoicing is released to Customer for payment.
•    Manage, track and maintain AOG Tooling Calibration requirements.
•    Work with Tooling Liaison Engineering to resolve tooling issues.
•    Grow the business to meet/exceed revenue goals.
•    Evaluate current inventory, identifying Customer requests and missed opportunities.
•    Work with Customers to grow utilization of Airplane Tooling Services.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.   

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•    Experience in supply chain management
•    Experience in customer support or customer service role
•    High attention to detail, be a self-starter, and results driven
•    Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime
•    Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
•    Experience applying verbal and written communications skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proof reading and editing skill

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•    Experience in aerospace support, supply chain management, & logistics planning
•    Basic proficiency in aerospace knowledge
•    Creative problem-solving skills

Typical Education/Experience:  
Typically, 6 or more years' related work experience or military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $86,700-$119,340
