Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for Entry Level Multidiscipline Engineers to join our Electrical

Engineering team to support wire design, wire installation, and equipment installation on many Avionics, Airplane Performance Systems design projects, including freighter conversions, in Long Beach, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops or modifies basic designs based on defined requirements.

• Performs tests to verify operational and functional requirements.

• Assists in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements.

• Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.

• Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs.

• Assists other members of project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Aerospace related field, from an ABET accredited program

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience do you have in cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs

• Able to read and interpret wire diagrams

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
