The Boeing Company is seeking Drug Free Workplace Analysts to join our Health Services Drug Free Workplace Program Office in Mesa, AZ.

The Drug Free Workplace Program Office is responsible for ensuring drug and alcohol testing program requirements are conducted in accordance with regulatory and contractual obligations across Boeing.  The team of analysts work together to administer day to day operations and oversight of all drug and alcohol testing.    

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of Drug Free Workplace (DFW) drug and alcohol testing program requirements

  • Identify and resolve issues and potential risks related to random drug and alcohol pool compliance

  • Perform random pool entry activities such as tracking and verifying pre-employment drug test results and previous drug and alcohol testing records

  • Coordinate, track, and audit random, return to duty and follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing

  • Facilitate prior employer drug and alcohol/safety sensitive background checks

  • Validate required training completions

  • Enter employees into random program pools and monitor accuracy of pools

  • Generate and review reports and records to assess compliance, identify and correct deficiencies

  • Assist applicants, employees, managers, and supplier partners with completion of drug and alcohol program requirements

  • Manage continuous compliance with regulatory and corporate mandates through self-audits, checking the work of others and analyzing data retrieved independently in order to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

  • Handle multiple concurrent assignments ranging from simple to complex while meeting strict deadlines that are associated with defined compliance protocols

  • Identify, resolve and/or communicate quality, compliance or process risks and discrepancies

  • Supplier management and oversight of vendors performing services on behalf of Drug Free Workplace Program Office

  • Effectively communicate and respond to questions from management, business partners, employees and suppliers

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the need to independently prioritize time and work effectively based on work statement

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience administering drug and alcohol programs regulated by one of the Department of Transportation agencies

  • 1+ years of experience with auditing of drug and alcohol testing information

  • 3+ years of experience working with Human Resources (HR) related laws, policies, processes and procedures

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite

  • Willing to support a 24/7 on-call rotation environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with Workday

  • Experience using problem solving and analytical skills

  • Experience with Medical Information Systems

  • Experience performing drug screen collections and breath alcohol testing

  • Experience in a role that requires attention to detail to create and maintain accurate and complete records, both paper and electronic, in accordance with procedures

  • Experience handling, protecting and communicating sensitive/confidential data

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
