The 787 Supply Chain Fulfillment team is looking for a Senior Business Process Analyst to join the team in North Charleston, SC to lead the development of supply chain related information models to support business objectives and database administration responsibilities related to tooling, hazardous materials and manufacturing execution software.

Our organization supports 787 production at the Boeing South Carolina (BSC) site, including Mid-body assembly, Aft Body Fabrication & Assembly, and Final Assembly & Delivery. Our team supports 787 Manufacturing by managing products, tools, hazmat, and consumables from on dock through last stage kitting to point of use.

This is not a union represented position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and maintenance of the business process architecture for process improvement strategies and initiatives.

  • Develops and maintains processes to improve efficiency and cost through the use of process methods, tools and modeling, process standards and guidelines, metric consultation and data analysis.

  • Works with managers to scope, plan and establish business process direction and strategies. Facilitates the development of business case and risk analysis of process investment, returns, affordability and resource requirements.

  • Provides guidance and implements data and information management standards; consolidates and simplifies process documents.

  • Acts as liaison between customers and information technology organization to communicate and resolve issues related to computing system requirements.

Work Authorization:

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience working in Materials Management.

  • 5+ years of experience managing supplier relationships.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience collecting, assessing, organizing information; summarizing findings and develop conclusions and recommendations.

  • 5+ years of experience with extracting data from SQL Servers.

  • Experience interfacing with database systems (such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Data HUB, Data Mart, Teradata, etc.).

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong coordination and collaboration skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
