The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) team located in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates (labor, material, Other Direct Cost ODC) and pricing for new business proposal and cost estimating activities.

This role will be supporting the H-47, MH-139, V-22 programs. This position will support the pricing and proposal integration activities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program.
• Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices.
• Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals. Develops estimating and pricing methods.
• Evaluates and develops business cases.
• Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.).
• Develops and maintains material pricing models.
• Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements.
• Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, data analytics, finance or business
• 2 + years of experience in a Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of experience creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience preparing time, cost and labor estimates
• Experience with finance data integration within business processes
• Experience leading the integration and analysis of resource forecasting and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, financial statements forecasts and/or financial EACs for contracts
• Ability to work in virtual/hybrid (telecommuting) and in office setting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Previous experience serving in an integration role
• Works well under strict deadlines
• Experience working in dynamic and diverse teams across multiple functions
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, practices and processes
• Experience presenting to senior management

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
