The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) team located in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.

This position will support Material Estimating. This position will allow you to influence the development and negotiation of Government proposals.  We are looking for a change agent to bring innovative ideas to meet the organization’s acquisition goals. 

This role will be supporting the H-47, MH-139, V-22 programs. This position will support the pricing and proposal integration activities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program.
• Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices.
• Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals. Develops estimating and pricing methods.
• Evaluates and develops business cases.
• Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.).
• Develops and maintains material pricing models.
• Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements.
• Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, data analytics, finance or business
• 2+ years of experience in Estimating and Pricing and/or Procurement Financial Analysis
• 2+ years of experience with any combination of Material Cost Analysis, Material Estimating, Finance and/or Material Accounting experience
• 2+ years of experience with material cost analysis
• Ability to work in virtual/hybrid (telecommuting) and in office setting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Basic understanding of proposal process
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in dynamic and diverse teams across multiple functions
• Experience with Supply Chain and/or Material Estimating
• Experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems, material estimating and pricing tools and processes

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
