Boeing is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst based out of Auburn, WA, USA.

Boeing Fabrication (IAS) Materials Management group has an opening for a (level 3/mid-level) Supply Chain Management Analyst in their Auburn, WA office. This position in IAS will have responsibility across parts for all airplane programs. This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.

  • Analyzes complex material requirements.

  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.

  • Determines part number attributes.

  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.

  • Ensures on-time delivery.

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies.

  • Reports schedule adherence issues.

  • Develops and controls inventory plans.

  • Optimizes inventory levels.

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories.

  • Initiates audits.

  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services.

  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.

  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.

  • Works with internal and external suppliers in optimal ordering for production.

  • This is a First/ Morning shift position.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years of experience in supporting operations, materials management and/or supply chain functions in production environment

  • 3 or more years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as ERPLN, or SAP (System Applications & Products)

  • 1+ years of experience scheduling and ordering inventories/supply

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years of Supply Chain experience in Aerospace, Defense, Manufacturing, or another industry

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office suite applications

  • Experience with Data Mart and or Tableau highly desirable

  • Experience with BOOTS, ASAC tool (surplus), RMAS, SMARTS, ISCT, CBO, BESSY, ESPM, Etrac, BEST, Footprints, AppXtender (packslips), PFA, Message courier, CIR, BIVS, Exostar, OMAT

  • Ability to coordinate up and down the supply chain, creating relationships

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
