The Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) Team within BGS Engineering is looking for an Integration Lead/Liaison to lead a cross functional team that performs systems engineering, software engineering, fleet analytics integration, and configuration management in Saint Louis, MO.  The GVHMS Team provides Health Management & Analytics (HM&A) solutions across multiple platforms and customers with the goal of reducing maintenance costs and improving aircraft availability.  The team deploys a suite of software solutions that provide insights into the health of a vehicle and also into the health of the fleet.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with people and for delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. The candidate will work collaboratively to identify opportunities to scale, integrate, and replicate HM&A solutions across the portfolio.  The candidate will have a proactive approach to working with multiple stakeholders to roadmap, plan, and realize those opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, business partners, and stakeholders
  • Develops information that extends across government HM&A capabilities and may form the basis of newly developed concepts, theories, services and products
  • Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of systems. Plans research and development programs, and recommends technological applications to accomplish long-range objectives requiring a long-term perspective
  • Serves as a Deputy Liaison and consultant to management in long-range company planning for new or projected areas of Government HM&A, including technological research and advancement. Primary spokesperson on the organization’s technical capabilities and future directions
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and works closely with other organizations
  • This position will require some ability to travel as needed

Security Clearance: 

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. 

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelors, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or technical related field
  • Experience leading teams or projects in an engineering discipline
  • Experience applying systems engineering principles to a complex technical environment
  • Creating or cultivating successful customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading projects or teams using Project Management principles
  • Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE)
  • Experience in Agile Development
  • Experience integrating multiple systems or products to address customer needs or gaps

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
