Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Level Quality Manager to join our Fabrication Core Quality team based in Auburn, WA.

The leader will help lead key initiatives in transition from Business Intelligence to Business Analytics. Having strong strategy and execution skills will allow this leader to thrive. Though this position will initially lead the Business Intelligence/Analytics and Business Analyst teams there will be an opportunity to lead other Quality teams in the future. This position requires proactive issue identification, leadership, people, and problem-solving skills.

The leader will be a reliable and proficient professional who possesses the ability to work well with diverse groups and collaborate across organizational boundaries. They can successfully implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment by relying on problem-solving, data, and analysis to drive decisions.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages, coaches, develops, and motivates employees across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience with data analytics, database architecture and systems level thinking.

  • Experience working in a Quality, Business Operations or Business Intelligence organization.

  • Experience with organizational and team building skills performed in a cross-functional environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
