Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Agent Level 2 to join the dynamic team in Oklahoma City, OK in a virtual capacity.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This Position is for 1st Shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• More than 2 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

• More than 2 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
• More than 2 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
• Bachelors or higher
• More than 2 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
• 2 or more years of experience with spares and repairs contracts.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 2 or more years' related work or military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelors’ or Master) is preferred but not required.

Summary pay range: 56,100 – 83,070
