The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Strategy Analyst based out of Mesa, AZ; Ridley Park, PA; or Arlington, VA.

This is an exciting opportunity to serve as for a strategy analyst for Boeing’s Vertical Lift division. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to guide the strategic development for one of the most successful defense rotorcraft manufacturers in the world.

The role will have three major functions: Market Intelligence, Strategic Analysis, Integration and Execution and Market Development. A successful candidate will have knowledge of the defense market and vertical lift products, the ability to work across organizations and functions, and experience presenting to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Researching and synthesizing market and competitive intelligence across the enduring rotorcraft market and emerging adjacencies to obtain insights and drive decisions

  • Performing strategic analysis, identifying key enablers and strategic alternatives to create and capture value

  • Developing solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with enterprise and division strategic objectives which leverage insights from quantitative and qualitative data to explain implications on business environment and strategy

  • Defending strategic assumptions and analysis through critical reviews and building creative business models / cases for new concepts, markets and business ideas

  • Collaborating with and cultivating key relationships with other division strategy teams; business unit and division leaders; and key functional counterparts and technical experts in global sales and marketing, engineering, and finance

  • Driving decision alignment; communicating Boeing strategies to achieve global growth, innovation and productivity; and inform senior leadership decision making on key strategic imperatives for Vertical Lift

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience within finance, business development, marketing, business strategy or consulting

  • Experience performing strategy work (e.g. market or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, and facilitating strategic decisions)

  • Experience leading, influencing and providing strategic counsel to business partners, colleagues and leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance

  • Technical knowledge of vertical lift market and products

  • Experience working in defense and/or aerospace

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
