Job Description Summary:

Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations. Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs. Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies. Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies. Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs. This is a Hybrid work position which requires min 2 days per week required at reporting site.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships.
• Provides business and strategic guidance for critical suppliers, commodities and programs.
• Leads the resolution of complex or strategic supply chain issues.
• Consults with management and customers to lead the development of future supply base requirements.
• Integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilities.
• Drives the company's cross-functional supply base strategy process.
• Evaluates potential proposals and coordinates sourcing proposals.
• Ensures external partners are meeting business expectations.
• Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in supplier management and procurement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with project management and proposal development

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
