Boeing is hiring for an F-15 Retrofit and Repair Technical Specialist to join the team in Hazelwood, MO. At Boeing, we are all innovators on a mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire. The Boeing Company’s F-15 Retrofit Team requires a retrofit and repair technical specialist to assist with the design, development and update of retrofit installation drawings (RIDS) and technical directives, as well as mod-site support for the F-15 programs in Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Researches and analyzes engineering data to develop and evaluate retrofit/repair and product configurations.
  • Assists with development and definition of retrofit/repair requirements and plans.
  • Supports the integration of data from configuration management sources.
  • Creates basic retrofit/repair product designs.
  • Evaluates retrofit/repair designs and prepares approval data for retrofit/repair deliverables.
  • Participates in product reviews, tests and validation of retrofit/repair installations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Uses process improvement methodologies.
  • Analyzes basic customer technical queries and provides retrofit/repair solutions.
  • Works under general supervision.

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Military Aircraft.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience multi-tasking (i.e., handling daily work, urgent emerging issues, project management, and phone call requests, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to travel up to 10%-20%.
  • Electrical experience
  • Mechanical experience
  • Production or Mod Line experience
  • Illustration, Modeling, etc experience
  • EVM and Finance Experience

Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
