Boeing Product Development in Commercial Airplanes is looking for Methods Process Analyst – Production Control to design and analyze future airplane production systems. A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and drive for process improvement and efficiency.

In Boeing Product Development, you'll work alongside other experts in design, production, quality, and supply chain.  You will have a hands-on role in creating the systems and processes that take new airplanes from design to delivery and beyond. Together, we will shape the future of aerospace manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities 
•    Experience in designing and integrating production control, including supply chain, operations / manufacturing
•    Establish key health indicators for each element in the production value stream, from supply base to post-production
•    Incorporate production control requirements into future production system design and operation
•    Develop means to predict, forecast, detect and resolve future off-nominal conditions using real-time data and analytics
•    Define organization to monitor the production system and prevent disruptions to the process
•    Develop visual controls and solutions architecture (ex. physical and digital signals) for material and information flows to identify and react to emergent work disruptions
•    Create business case and value proposition
•    Define and establish problem solving and escalation processes for resolving and preventing disruptions


Telecommuting
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. 


VISA/Export
•    This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee


Skills/Experience


Basic Qualifications
•    9+ years of experience with schedule and process management, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
•    7+ years’ experience in leading and/or managing complex projects
•    Must be able to support occasional domestic or international travel

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience with designing and deploying production control system in complex operations
•    Effective cross-functional teaming and facilitation, building strong relationships
•    Quick Learner: ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts across multiple disciplines
•    Problem Solver: ability to analyze and organize complex technical problems
•    Communicator: ability to translate complex issues into cohesive, actionable components, with ability for individual contributor and executive communication
•    Ability to work out of comfort zone, where process definition does not exist or is unclear
•    Ability to take ownership/initiative, pull teams together, establish battle rhythm, and remove roadblocks
•    Ability to communicate at all levels, from vice presidents to mechanic


Typical Education & Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
